Merger Significantly Expands Two Boutique Atlanta Real Estate Companies

ATLANTA, August 2, 2017 – Commercial Property Professionals and SK Commercial Realty, leading Atlanta-based commercial real estate and property management companies, have integrated their services. They will maintain their offices at Circle 75 and retain the company name SK Commercial Realty. The companies have been collaborating for some time and have concluded joining forces would expedite and amplify the vision of both companies.

Under the new company, Hugh Scott, Jr., will serve as chairman of SK Commercial Realty; Hugh Scott III, will serve as chief executive officer; and Tom Kirbo will serve as president, Furman Wood will serve senior vice president and principal and Keith Guthrie will serve as senior vice president and principal.

“This is about two substantial commercial real estate firms coming together,” said Kirbo. “Combined, SK Commercial Realty has solidified our goal to provide a full complement of brokerage services with notable depth in landlord, tenant, industrial, land and investment sales, and asset management.”

According to Wood, joining forces made perfect sense for CPP’s clients and business goals. “We gained a platform that allows us to further invest in commercial real estate in addition to offering leading property management and project consulting services to our existing CPP clients.”

“We believe this is an exciting time to come together. We’ve assembled the right leaders to provide our high quality real estate services and deepen our investments in commercial realty.” said Kirbo.
