Furman Wood has more than 30 years of commercial real estate brokerage experience, in 2008, Mr. Wood co-founded Commercial Property Professionals (CPP). In 2017, Mr. Wood merged CPP with SK Commercial Realty to continue to focus on the areas of Landlord and Tenant Representation involving office, medical, industrial properties.
Furman began his career in 1993 as an industrial and office specialist focusing on landlord and tenant representation with Wilson Hull & Neal. Prior to working for Wilson Hull & Neal, Mr. Wood was the Director of Sales and Marketing with Jamison Research which is now Costar Real Estate Research Services. Furman is a Past President of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and is a recipient of the Silver Phoenix Award, (25 years in MDC). In 2001, Mr. Wood received The President's Award for his outstanding commitment and dedication to the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, received The Commercial Realtor of the Year Award in 2005 and additionally in 2011 Mr. Wood was awarded the Community Service Award. Furman serves on the USO of GA Board of Directors, Andee's Army, and The American Legion (Post 140).
Mr. Wood grew up in Newport News, Virginia and is a graduate of Radford University where he earned a degree in Management. Mr. Wood served six years in the United States Marine Corps Reserves and is a veteran of Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
