Dan Kelsey is a Chief Engineer at SK Commercial Realty. He has more than 30 years experience in commercial real estate maintenance and development. His areas of expertise include energy management, security, construction, budget planning, capital project management, acquisition due diligence, building access controls and building monitoring systems.
Prior to joining SKCR in 2015, Dan served as Director of Engineering for Winthrop Management, Parthenon Realty and CarrAmerica where he supervised property engineering and maintenance personnel on a national basis. Dan previously served as Chief Engineer with CBRE, where he was instrumental in reducing energy usage by $180,000 on a property in one year. His capital project management and construction management has included oversight of numerous projects including up to $2.5 million on a single project.
Dan attended DeKalb Tech for Refrigeration and Motor Maintenance. Mr. Kelsey has a First, Second, Third and Fourth Class Power Engineering License and an SMA and SMT Degree from BOMI Institute.
Dan’s community involvement includes home renovation projects with Christmas in April and Rebuilding Together. He is a regular volunteer with Feeding the Homeless Project Organization where 150 – 200 local homeless people are served meals each week.
